This month we commemorate the one-year anniversary of the Parish Vocational Council. In the past year, in addition to the Vocational mass that is celebrated on the first Thursday of each month, the council has promoted a series of Prayer for Vocation. There are two parts to the prayer, they are "Call by Name" and "Pray by Name", and there are approximately 100 parishioners committed to the prayer. Come join us on December 5th at the Vocation mass as we will be presenting these brothers and sisters with a special 'Prayer for Vocation' pin.<br/><br/>

In our parish today there are a total of six brothers who have joined the seminary. One of them, Brother Augustine, will be receiving his deaconate in January, and then he will be ordained in May 2003.<br/><br/>

Next year the Vocation Mass will be moved to the first Friday of every month, celebrated concurrently with the Mass of Sacred Heart of Jesus. We invite all parishioners to join us as we continue our prayers for Vocations.
