The Legion of Mary is a well-known apostolic organization in the Catholic Church. During the Communist Takeover of China, many Legionaries were jailed, because they were loyal to the Pope in Rome. Their devoted spirits become the motivation of the Legion of Mary to expand their work in all over the world.<br/><br/>

The strength of the Legion of Mary is the requirement of absolute obedience to each rule in the Handbook. Its objective is to maintain Legionary's prayerful attitude and enthusiasm to evangelize. Moreover, it helps Legionary to live a disciplined spiritual life.<br/><br/>

Our parish will launch a new Legion of Mary group in January 2003, named the Praesieium of Queen of Chinese Martyrs. There are already more than 16 parishioners registered. Sr. Maria Fok will be the spiritual director.<br/><br/>

There will be an open day at the library of our parish on Dec 14th and 15th, all are sincerely welcomed. Our library lends about 500 books a week, which is encouraging. The representative of the library is Sr. Josephine Liu.
