The Diocese is organizing the Catholic Lay Symposium at Metro Toronto Convention Centre on Saturday, May 24th, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The theme of the symposium is "Evangelization and Lay Movements", and Dr. Donna Lynn Orsuto from Gregorian University, Rome will be the speaker of this event.<br/><br/>

We have arranged transportation for the representatives from our parish groups and the spiritual committee. All parishioners are welcome. Please contact the Parish Office at (905) 294-1377 for more information.<br/><br/>

The Worldwide Overseas Chinese Pastoral and Evangelization Convention organized by Father Pang will be held on July 1- 4, 2003 at our parish. To reduce the cost for the participants, we will be offering the "Hosting Family" service. We will begin to recruit volunteers and look for hosting families after we have confirmed the number of participants by the beginning of May. I hope everybody can demonstrate their hospitality towards the participants and let us pray for the convention.
