Fountain of Love and Life

The Chinese programme “Fountain of Love and Life” will be premiering on December 3 on Salt & Light Television. Here, I wish the producers and workers in advance a successful premier.

The executive producer of “Fountain of Love and Life” is Paul Yeung. A passion for evangelization, he devotes himself to the production of this programme outside his regular working hours. He says, “The devotion of each volunteer was a critical part of the success of the first thirteen episodes. I am especially grateful for the support of my wife, Bonny, because she took many matters into her own hands and helped me with resolving many roadblocks during preparation.”

About three years ago, there was already a group of parishioners who wanted to air Chinese Catholic programmes on Fairchild television. At that time, the Diocesan Communications Office was supportive of this project. However due to many objective circumstances, that project was put on hold. That is why a year ago I felt it was a dream came true when Paul Yeung approached me to tell me that Salt & Light Television would like to air Catholic Chinese programmes on their channel. The problems of old have been overcome substantially.

I wish that the message of Fountain of Love and Life will penetrate the hearts of the viewers and bring fruitful results.
