"Do not be amazed! You seek Jesus of Nazareth, the crucified. He has been raised.”(Mark 16:6) "Do not be afraid! I report to you great news for you all: Today in the city of David, was born for you a Savior, who is the Lord Messiah." From the above two messages told by the angel, there is a sense of similarity. "Do not panic! Do not be afraid!" these are the common words often spoken by Jesus. The most common human predicament is the lack of security. Our Savior's birth and death, brings new hope to mankind. "I am the way, the truth and the life." The path of Jesus is the way of [the Cross]; His truth is [the revelation of the Holy Spirit]; His life is [to sacrifice for all of us]. Our greatest fears are [the Cross] and [sacrifice]. "For those who are willing to follow me, they will have to carry their cross every day!" At times when we are feeling really afraid, do not forget that Jesus is not far away from us, in fact it can be said that he is living with us. "I'm with you every day until the end of the world!" The hope of humanity is not free from worries, disease and pain; but amidst the pain and suffering, we believe that Jesus is with us to tide us over difficulties, we even become the living sacrifices of the mystical body. However, we must not forget that we have to die with Jesus, and also to resurrect with him, so that in joy we can continue to live God's will.
