“What do you want me to do for you?” (Mark 10:51) Jesus said, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” (Matthew 7:7) Therefore, we can be sure that Jesus is constantly waiting for our prayers. On one occasion, Jesus appeared to Sister Faustina and said, “You seem to have nothing to ask from me!” Sister Faustina replied, “Lord! You know everything hence I do not have to ask!” (She was implying, “since you know what I want, you always give them to me!”) However, Jesus said to her, “I know what you want but your seeking for what you need is another matter.” As a matter of fact, when we have no intention or desire to ask, we will often turn a blind eye even though God has bestowed upon us with His grace. This may explain why we have received a limited amount of grace. It was because we have never prayed or is afraid to pray for what we want. If we are afraid to ask, please learn from the simple but pure heart of Mother Mary. “There was a wedding in Cana in Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. Jesus and his disciples were also invited to the wedding. When the wine ran short, the mother of Jesus said to him, "They have no wine." (And) Jesus said to her, "Woman, how does your concern affect me? My hour has not yet come. "His mother said to the servers, "Do whatever he tells you.” (John 2:1-5) What Holy Mother considered here was entirely the needs of the newlywed couple. She knew that the hour of Jesus’ missionary work had not started yet, but she was not worried if Jesus felt unhappy, or afraid of her opinion being rejected and dared to speak out her opinion. The warmest reminder of Holy Mother is purely about “Love”!
