“For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save what was lost." (Luke 19:10) Jesus used the parable of the lost sheep to reveal how precious the people who are lost: "What man among you having a hundred sheep and losing one of them would not leave the ninety-nine in the desert and go after the lost one until he finds it?” (Luke 15:4) The gospel of Matthew interpreted the words of the prophet Isaiah, proving that Jesus is the “light” of humanity: "Land of Zebulun and land of Naphtali, the way to the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles, the people who sit in darkness have seen a great light, on those dwelling in a land overshadowed by death light has arisen." (Matt. 4:15-16; Refer to Is. 8:23-9:1) Jesus’ “love” for mankind is complete; He wished to “feel” (only feel, not really) “separation” from the father to mend the gap between man and God: “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" (Matt. 27:46; Refer to Ps. 22:2) Jesus emphasized again: "Those who are healthy do not need a physician, but the sick do.” (Luke 5:31) Therefore, we should not spend too much time criticizing ourselves and omit the importance of repentance and renewal. Please listen to the conversation between Jesus and the sinful woman: “Woman! Where are they? No one accused you of your sin?” She said: “Lord! No-one.”Jesus said to her: “I will not accuse you as well; Go! From now, do not sin anymore!” Lord, we pray that you grant us the gift of repentance.
