“Let it be done for you according to your faith.” (Matthew 9:29) The definition of “Faith” in Catholic theology is: “Under the shining and inspiring with the grace of God, the people’s will can initiate rationality followed by believing in the truth revealed by God.” (Lexicon Biblicum Sinicum No.1113) Please listen to the teaching of St. Peter: “In this you rejoice, although now for a little while you may have to suffer through various trials, so that the genuineness of your faith, more precious than gold that is perishable even though tested by fire, may prove to be for praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. Although you have not seen him you love him; even though you do not see him now yet believe in him, you rejoice with an indescribable and glorious joy, as you attain the goal of (your) faith, the salvation of your souls.” (1 Peter 1:6-9) In the present world, endurance is needed for the growth of our faith especially under the influence of the cross. Even though we suffer with Christ, we still feel joyful. When our faith towards God gets bigger, He will grant us abundant grace as God is always more generous than us. Do not be afraid to ask for whatever we need, especially the peacefulness and happiness of the soul. “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” For anyone who still suspects the mercy of God, our prayers are with these souls.
