My service spent at Annunciation Church has just reached the end of my fourth year. I carry a feeling of happiness. Though my personality is considering to be quite easy going, it does not mean that there will be no arguments between myself and other co-workers or the parish committee members. I believe that it is because of differences in our characters, but after the years of mutual understanding and cooperation, as of today we are heading towards the path of unity.

Many parishioners ask me if I have any expectations for the parish's future. Frankly speaking, my experience tells me that having no expectations is my vision, because I believe in the philosophy of "Man proposes and God disposes". Many things cannot be rushed but rather they should go with the flow. It does not mean that there is a lack of any ideals in my inner heart, but rather it means to act when the time is right and when the circumstances come.

Four years ago, I planned to implement the 24 hours Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament for the parish on a daily basis. However Rev. Dominic Chan General Vicar suggested that we should initially start with 48 hours weekly. We accepted his advice. Later on we held the adoration of "Novena of Divine Mercy", therefore we also started to have the Eucharistic Adoration from 3pm to 4pm every day. Furthermore, we commenced the Cenacle Prayer from 8:30pm to 10:00pm for the parishioners to come after work. Jesus is helping us get close to Him step by step through circumstances and our need.

I believe that, "For where two or three are gathered in my Name, I am there among them." (Matthew 18:20) As long as we wish with mutual love, Jesus will never leave and abandon his beloved disciples.
