“Render, therefore, unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's, and unto God the things that are God's." Quite a lot of people had the wrong impression that religion and politics are two unrelated entities. Some politicians even long to elude scrutiny of religious origin, using the foregoing quote. In fact, the purpose of politics is to serve people. Politics, therefore cannot deviate from the Spirit of the Gospel. Politicians with Faith, despite of being in different political parties from their opponents, should work with their opponents to strive for better basic rights and freedom for the people. The basis of human civilization is selfless cooperation and mutual respect for each other. The message behind is that, God should have a high standing in our hearts. In addition, Jesus demanded us to make the commandment of Love, as well as the needs of others, our main concern.
