Heaven is My Home

The Church puts All Saints Day and All Souls Day consecutively on November 1st and 2nd for a special reason: brothers and sisters who have passed away are all parts of the mystical body of Christ. We should not only pray for them, but also learn from their holiness in life.

Before Jesus left this world, He said to His disciples: "I am going there to prepare a place for you." No doubt, Jesus' wish is for every one of us to enter the home of the Father.

We are all created in the image of God. The Holy Trinity is a mutually loving body, and when we live in mutual love, no matter in life or after, we live in God's embrace.

Jesus gave us the Holy Eucharist as a proof of His willingness to be living with us always. Let us not misunderstand that God is coercing us. He only wishes that we can spend our every day wisely, treasure our possessions, and dedicate our service and offer our love to each other wholeheartedly.

Let us offer our prayers, especially our sacrifices in suffering, for all the souls in purgatory. We wish that one day we will all meet in our heavenly home.
