When Jesus became flesh to dwell among mankind, mankind also partakes in his godliness.

Moreover, we are outwardly united with Christ whenever we celebrate the sacrament of the Holy Eucharist. From this we see that the only true life is a life lived in Jesus Christ.

Jesus lives His life according to the will of the Father. Hence, when we live according to the Father’s will, we are living in God.

According to the bible Jesus resurrected a girl. He said to her family, “She is only sleeping.”

From this we can see that what Jesus refers to as death, is not when the physical body ceases to breathe, but is when a life is lived without God; without love.

So let us begin each day by abandoning stale habits, just as St. Paul said, “Put away your old self, and clothe yourselves with the new self.”
