Pre-confirmation Class<br/><br/>

The Confirmation Classes organized by John Hu have been popular with our youths. Two years ago, the duration of the Confirmation Classes was extended to one full year, with very satisfactory results which highlighted the importance of these session. Starting this school year, we will be accepting youths who graduated from Sunday School into a Pre-confirmation Class which, in turn, prepares them for Confirmation Class next year. Tony Chow will coordinate the Pre-confirmation Class.<br/><br/>

As a result, the full Sunday School curriculum will include Pre-confirmation Class and Confirmation Class. Since classrooms at church are overbooked on Sunday as it is, and St. Vincent de Paul Elementary School cannot be used due of a lack of caretakers, the classes will instead be held at the rectory. Details on registration and class schedules will be announced shortly.<br/><br/>

Through small group dynamics and communal prayer, the Pre-confirmation Class will focus on discussions of news and current events as well as the direction of the Church to give youths the correct perspective on morals and faith. Students from public as well as catholic schools are both welcome. The Pre-confirmation Class is a new concept; I count on parents with children of the appropriate age for support of this program.
