Advent<br/><br/>

The colour for all religious dress and liturgical decoration in the period of Advent is mainly purple. This means self-reformation. During the Mass, the part of Gloria is also cancelled to imply our waiting for the coming of Christ.<br/><br/>

Chapter 40 of the Scripture from Isaiah clearly expressed the true meaning of Advent: “Prepare in the wilderness a road for the Lord! Clear the way in the desert for our Lord! Fill every valley; level every mountain. The hills will become a plain, and the rough country will be made smooth. Then the glory of the Lord will be revealed, and the whole human race will see it.”<br/><br/>

During Christmas, we celebrate the birth of Christ of our Saviour. In real life, if every time we love one another; we are living the life of Christ in our midst.<br/><br/>
