Jesus said, "Go into the city to a certain man and tell him, 'The teacher says, "My appointed time draws near; in your house I shall celebrate the Passover with my disciples."'" (Matt 26:18) According to Luke, Jesus appointed Peter and John to prepare the Passover dinner. The words that Jesus told the two disciples were like those during the time of the conversion of Saul. Jesus said, "Now get up and go into the city and you will be told what you must do." (Acts 9:6) Jesus did not say to see who. He just said "somebody" or "there is someone" as a way to explain. We can see that when we are helping Jesus to do His work, there surely will be a lot of anonymous messengers to help us along. Jesus likes to communicate with people as a way to spread the Good News. In other words, everyone at my side could be His candidate helping God the Father to fulfill the duty that He has given us. The question is whether we have the confidence and sensitivity to recognize His calling.
