"So then the Lord Jesus, after he spoke to them, was taken up into heaven and took his seat at the right hand of God." (Mark 16:19) Luke, the evangelist, has a more detailed description of our Lord's ascension: "Then he led them (out) as far as Bethany, raised his hands, and blessed them. As he blessed them he parted from them and was taken up to heaven." (Luke 24:50-51) The Act of the Apostles (the same author of Luke) has provided further details: "While they were looking intently at the sky as he was going, suddenly two men dressed in white garments stood beside them. They said, 'Men of Galilee, why are you standing there looking at the sky? This Jesus who has been taken up from you into heaven will return in the same way as you have seen him going into heaven.'" (Acts 1:10-11) There are 3 core factors to the apostles' proclamation:(1) the Resurrection of Jesus, (2) the Ascension of Jesus and He sits at the right hand of Our Father, and (3) Jesus will come back again in glory. Which ruled against the scientists' misconception that Jesus' ascension was merely a fabrication by men afterwards. Jesus had indeed returned to Our Father, however, the Holy Spirit still continues His work on earth. After the descent of the Holy Spirit, 3,000 people had converted due to Peter's preaching,. Cedarmore had offered his life, that Saul had converted too. ,When Peter was preaching to Cornelius (a Roman centurion) and his family at Caesarea, the Holy Spirit descent upon all who attended. Peter said: "Can anyone withhold the water for baptizing these people who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?" Although Jesus was sitting at the right hand of Our Father, His heart was still united to us on earth. In her diary, Sister Faustina wrote: "Lord Jesus! I need you. However, I know, You need me more."
