恭讀聖路加福音 11:1-4
有一次，耶穌在一個地方祈禱，祈禱完畢，他的一個門徒對他說：「主，請教我們祈禱，如同若翰教了他的門徒一樣。」耶穌對他們說：「你們祈禱時要說：父啊！願你的名被尊為聖！願你的國來臨！我們的日用糧，求你天天賜給我們！寬免我們的罪過，因為我們自己也寬免所有虧負我們的人；不要讓我們陷入誘惑。」

A Reading from the Holy Gospel according to Luke 11:1-4
1 He was praying in a certain place, and when he ceased, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, as John taught his disciples.” 2 And he said to them, “When you pray, say: “Father, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. 3 Give us each day our daily bread; 4 and forgive us our sins, for we ourselves forgive every one who is indebted to us; and lead us not into temptation.”

「死在夫前一支花」，丈夫將一支紅玫瑰放在太太身旁，又握著她放在胸前的雙手，潸然淚下﹗執子之手，未能與子偕老，無不黯然神傷﹗蓋棺就成永袂，教人不得不放手﹗
太太走了，剩下還算年輕的丈夫，一對還未懂事的兒女，我看見他們鼻也酸了﹗心想那太太一定捨不得﹗
「… 我信諸聖相通功，我信罪的赦免，我信肉身的復活，我信常生。亞孟。」念得滾瓜爛熟的經文，我們真的信得徹徹底底嗎? 為我們跟隨主的人，死亡並不是絕路，我們只是回歸父家，永永遠遠與天父一起﹗生命的長短、世事的難料，全都掌握在祂手中，最重要是相信天父的大愛，每件事的發生都是祂准許的，也為我們的益處﹗
「願祢的國來臨！」但願我能謙虛地放下，教我以祢的心為心，對待每事每物﹗
