恭讀聖馬爾谷福音 3:7-12
那時，耶穌同自己的門徒退到海邊去，有許多民眾從加里肋亞跟隨了來，並有從猶太、耶路撒冷、依杜默雅、約旦河彼岸、提洛和漆東一帶地方的許多群眾，聽說他所作的一切事，都來到他跟前。因為人多，他遂吩咐他的門徒，為自己備好一隻小船，免得人擁擠他。因為他治好了許多人，所以，凡有病災的人都向他湧來，要觸摸他。邪魔一見了他，就俯伏在他面前喊說：「你是天主子。」他卻嚴厲責斥他們，不許把他顯露出來。

A Reading from the Holy Gospel according to Mark 3:7-12
Jesus withdrew toward the sea with his disciples. A large number of people followed from Galilee and from Judea. Hearing what he was doing, a large number of people came to him also from Jerusalem, from Idumea, from beyond the Jordan, and from the neighborhood of Tyre and Sidon. He told his disciples to have a boat ready for him because of the crowd, so that they would not crush him. He had cured many and, as a result, those who had diseases were pressing upon him to touch him. And whenever unclean spirits saw him they would fall down before him and shout, “You are the Son of God.” He warned them sternly not to make him known.
