恭讀聖若望福音　12:44-50

那時，耶穌呼喊說：「信我的，不是信我，而是信那派遣我來的；看見我的，也就是看見那派遣我來的。我身為光明，來到了世界上，使凡信我的，不留在黑暗中。無論誰若聽我的話而不遵行，我不審判他，因為我不是為審判世界而來，乃是為拯救世界。拒絕我，及不接受我話的，自有審判他的：就是我所說的話，要在末日審判他；因為我沒有憑我自己說話，而是派遣我來的父，他給我出了命，叫我該說什麼，該講什麼。我知道他的命令就是永生；所以，我所講論的，全是依照父對我所說的而講論的。」

A Reading from the Holy Gospel according to John 12:44-50

Jesus cried out and said, “Whoever believes in me believes not only in me but also in the one who sent me, and whoever sees me sees the one who sent me. I came into the world as light, so that everyone who believes in me might not remain in darkness. And if anyone hears my words and does not observe them, I do not condemn him, for I did not come to condemn the world but to save the world. Whoever rejects me and does not accept my words has something to judge him: the word that I spoke, it will condemn him on the last day, because I did not speak on my own, but the Father who sent me commanded me what to say and speak. And I know that his commandment is eternal life. So what I say, I say as the Father told me.”
