恭讀聖瑪竇福音　10:16-23

那時候，耶穌對他的門徒說：「看，我派遣你們好像羊進入狼群中，所以你們要機警如同蛇，純樸如同鴿子。你們要提防世人，因為他們要把你們交給公議會，要在他們的會堂裏鞭打你們；並且你們要為我的緣故，被帶到總督和君王前，對他們和外邦人作證。當人把你們交出時，你們不要思慮：怎麼說，或說什麼，因為在那時刻，自會賜給你們說什麼。因為說話的不是你們，而是你們父的聖神在你們內說話。兄弟要將兄弟，父親要將兒子置於死地，兒女也要起來反對父母，要將他們害死。你們為了我的名字，要為眾人所惱恨；唯獨堅持到底的，才可得救。但是，幾時人們在這城迫害你們，你們就逃往另一城去；我實在告訴你們：直到人子來到時，你們還未走完以色列的城邑。」

A Reading from the Holy Gospel according to Matthew 10:16-23

Jesus said to his Apostles: “Behold, I am sending you like sheep in the midst of wolves; so be shrewd as serpents and simple as doves. But beware of men, for they will hand you over to courts and scourge you in their synagogues, and you will be led before governors and kings for my sake as a witness before them and the pagans. When they hand you over, do not worry about how you are to speak or what you are to say. You will be given at that moment what you are to say. For it will not be you who speak but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you. Brother will hand over brother to death, and the father his child; children will rise up against parents and have them put to death. You will be hated by all because of my name, but whoever endures to the end will be saved. When they persecute you in one town, flee to another. Amen, I say to you, you will not finish the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.”

那時，伯多祿開口對耶穌說：「看，我們捨棄了一切，跟隨了你；那麼，將來我們可得到什麼呢？」耶穌對他們說：「我實在告訴你們：你們這些跟隨我的人，在重生的世代，人子坐在自己光榮的寶座上時，你們也要坐在十二寶座上，審判以色列十二支派；並且，凡為我的名，捨棄了房屋、或兄弟、或姊妹、或父親、或母親、或妻子、或兒女、或田地的，必要領取百倍的賞報，並承受永生。」

And everyone who has given up houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or lands for the sake of my name will receive a hundred times more, and will inherit eternal life.

恭讀聖瑪竇福音　10:1-7

耶穌將他的十二門徒叫來，授給他們制伏邪魔的權柄，可以驅逐邪魔，醫治各種病症，各種疾苦。這是十二宗徒的名字：第一個是稱為伯多祿的西滿，和他的兄弟安德肋、載伯德的兒子雅各伯和他的弟弟若望、斐理伯和巴爾多祿茂、多默和稅吏瑪竇、阿耳斐的兒子雅各伯和達陡、熱誠者西滿和負賣耶穌的猶達斯依斯加略。耶穌派遣這十二人，囑咐他們說：「外邦人的路，你們不要走；撒瑪黎雅人的城，你們不要進；你們寧可往以色列家迷失了的羊那裏去。你們在路上應宣講說：天國臨近了。」

A Reading from the Holy Gospel according to Matthew 10:1-7

Jesus summoned his Twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits to drive them out and to cure every disease and every illness. The names of the Twelve Apostles are these: first, Simon called Peter, and his brother Andrew; James, the son of Zebedee, and his brother John; Philip and Bartholomew, Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James, the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddeus; Simon the Cananean, and Judas Iscariot who betrayed Jesus.
Jesus sent out these Twelve after instructing them thus, “Do not go into pagan territory or enter a Samaritan town. Go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. As you go, make this proclamation: ‘The Kingdom of heaven is at hand.'”

那時候，耶穌一見群眾，就上了山，坐下；他的門徒來到他面前，他遂開口教訓他們說：「神貧的人是有福的，因為天國是他們的。哀慟的人是有福的，因為他們要受安慰。溫良的人是有福的，因為他們要承受土地。飢渴慕義的人是有福的，因為他們要得飽飫。憐憫人的人是有福的，因為他們要受憐憫。心裡潔淨的人是有福的，因為他們要看見天主。締造和平的人是有福的，因為他們要稱為天主的子女。為義而受迫害的人是有福的，因為天國是他們的。幾時人為了我而辱罵迫害你們，?造一切壞話毀謗你們，你們是有福的。你們歡喜踴躍罷！因為你們在天上的賞報是豐厚的。」

When he saw the crowds, he went up the mountain, and after he had sat down, his disciples came to him. He began to teach them, saying: “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they who mourn, for they will be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the land. Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied. Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. Blessed are the clean of heart, for they will see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when they insult you and persecute you and utter every kind of evil against you [falsely] because of me. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward will be great in heaven.

恭讀聖瑪竇福音　9:18-26

耶穌正在說話的時候，有一位首長前來跪拜他說：「我的女兒剛才死了，可是請你來，把你的手放在她的身上，她必會活。」耶穌起來跟他去了，他的門徒也跟了去。看，有一個患血漏十二年的女人，從後面走近，摸了他的衣服繸頭，因為她心裏想：「只要我一摸他的衣服，我就會好了。」耶穌轉過身來，看著她說：「女兒，放心吧！你的信德救了你。」從那時起，那女人就好了。耶穌來到首長家裏，看見吹笛的和亂哄哄的群眾，就說：「你們走開吧！女孩子沒有死，只是睡著了。」他們都譏笑他。把群眾趕出去以後，耶穌就進去，拿起女孩子的手，小女孩就起來了。這消息傳遍了那整個地區。

A Reading from the Holy Gospel according to Matthew 9:18-26

While Jesus was speaking, an official came forward, knelt down before him, and said, “My daughter has just died. But come, lay your hand on her, and she will live.” Jesus rose and followed him, and so did his disciples. A woman suffering hemorrhages for twelve years came up behind him and touched the tassel on his cloak. She said to herself, “If only I can touch his cloak, I shall be cured.” Jesus turned around and saw her, and said, “Courage, daughter! Your faith has saved you.” And from that hour the woman was cured.
When Jesus arrived at the official’s house and saw the flute players and the crowd who were making a commotion, he said, “Go away! The girl is not dead but sleeping.” And they ridiculed him. When the crowd was put out, he came and took her by the hand, and the little girl arose. And news of this spread throughout all that land.

恭讀聖路加福音　10:1-12,17-20

那時候，主另外選定了七十二人，派遣他們兩個兩個，在他前面，到他自己將要去的各城各地去。
耶穌對他們說：「莊稼多，而工人少，所以，你們應當求莊稼的主人，派遣工人來，收割他的莊稼。你們去吧！看，我派遣你們猶如羔羊，往狼群中。你們不要帶錢囊，不要帶口袋，也不要帶鞋；路上也不要向人請安。
「不論進入那一家，先說：願這一家平安！那裡如有和平之子，你們的和平就要停留在他身上；否則，仍歸於你們。你們要住在那一家，吃喝他們所供給的，因為工人自當有他的工資。你們不可從這一家，挪到那一家。不論進入那座城，人如果接納你們，給你們擺上什麼，你們就吃什麼。要醫治城中的病人，並給他們說：天主的國，已經臨近你們了。
「不論進入那座城，人如果不接納你們，你們就出來，到街市上，說：連你們城中，粘在我們腳上的塵土，我們也要當你們面前拍掉；但是，你們當知道：天主的國，已經臨近了。我告訴你們：在那一日，索多瑪所受的懲罰，要比這座城容易忍受。」
那七十二人，歡喜地歸來，說：「主！因著你的名號，連惡魔都屈服於我們。」
耶穌向他們說：「我看見撒旦，如同閃電一樣，自天跌下。看，我已經授予你們權柄，使你們踐踏蛇蠍，並能制伏仇敵的一切勢力；沒有什麼能傷害你們。但是，你們不要因為魔鬼屈服於你們，而喜歡，你們應當喜歡的，乃是因為你們的名字，已經登記在天上了。」──上主的話。

A Reading from the Holy Gospel according to Luke 10:1-12,17-20
At that time the Lord appointed seventy-two others whom he sent ahead of him in pairs to every town and place he intended to visit. He said to them, “The harvest is abundant but the laborers are few; so ask the master of the harvest to send out laborers for his harvest. Go on your way; behold, I am sending you like lambs among wolves. Carry no money bag, no sack, no sandals; and greet no one along the way. Into whatever house you enter, first say, ‘Peace to this household.’ If a peaceful person lives there,
your peace will rest on him; but if not, it will return to you. Stay in the same house and eat and drink what is offered to you,
for the laborer deserves his payment. Do not move about from one house to another. Whatever town you enter and they welcome you,
eat what is set before you, cure the sick in it and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God is at hand for you.’ Whatever town you enter and they do not receive you, go out into the streets and say, ‘The dust of your town that clings to our feet, even that we shake off against you.’ Yet know this: the kingdom of God is at hand. I tell you, it will be more tolerable for Sodom on that day than for that town.”

The seventy-two returned rejoicing, and said, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us because of your name.” Jesus said, “I have observed Satan fall like lightning from the sky. Behold, I have given you the power to ‘tread upon serpents’ and scorpions and upon the full force of the enemy and nothing will harm you. Nevertheless, do not rejoice because the spirits are subject to you,
but rejoice because your names are written in heaven.”
