Jesus said to his disciples: \u201cA little while and you will no longer see me, and again a little while later and you will see me.\u201d So some of his disciples said to one another, \u201cWhat does this mean that he is saying to us, \u2018A little while and you will not see me, and again a little while and you will see me,\u2019 and \u2018Because I am going to the Father\u2019?\u201d So they said, \u201cWhat is this \u2018little while\u2019 [of which he speaks]? We do not know what he means.\u201d Jesus knew that they wanted to ask him, so he said to them, \u201cAre you discussing with one another what I said, \u2018A little while and you will not see me, and again a little while and you will see me\u2019? Amen, amen, I say to you, you will weep and mourn, while the world rejoices; you will grieve, but your grief will become joy.<\/p>\n
