恭讀聖瑪竇福音　2:1-12

當黑落德為王時，耶穌誕生在猶大的白冷。看，有賢士從東方來到耶路撒冷，說：「剛誕生的猶太人君王在那裡？我們在東方見到了他的星，特來朝拜他。」
黑落德王聽見了，就驚慌起來；全耶路撒冷也同他一起驚慌。黑落德王便召集了眾司祭長和民間的經師，仔細考問他們：「默西亞應當生在那裡？」他們對他說：「在猶大的白冷，因為先知曾這樣記載：『你猶大白冷啊！你在猶大的郡邑中，決不是最小的，因為將由你出來一位領袖；他將牧養我的百姓以色列。』」
於是，黑落德暗暗把賢士叫來，仔細詢問他們那星出現的時間；然後打發他們往白冷去，說：「你們去仔細尋訪那嬰孩，幾時找到了，就向我報告，好讓我也去朝拜他。」 賢士聽了王的話，就走了。
看，他們在東方所見的那星，走在他們前面，直至來到嬰孩所在的地方，就停在上面。他們一見到那星，極其高興歡喜。他們走進屋裡，看見嬰孩和他的母親瑪利亞，就俯伏朝拜了那嬰孩，並打開自己的寶匣，給嬰孩奉獻了禮物，即黃金、乳香和沒藥。
賢士在夢中得到指示，不要回到黑落德那裡，就由另一條路，返回自己的地方。

For we have seen his star in the East, and have come to worship him.” 3 When Herod the king heard this, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him; 4 and assembling all the chief priests and scribes of the people, he inquired of them where the Christ was to be born. 5 They told him, “In Bethlehem of Judea; for so it is written by the prophet: 6 `And you, O Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for from you shall come a ruler who will govern my people Israel.'” 7 Then Herod summoned the wise men secretly and ascertained from them what time the star appeared; 8 and he sent them to Bethlehem, saying, “Go and search diligently for the child, and when you have found him bring me word, that I too may come and worship him.” 9 When they had heard the king they went their way; and lo, the star which they had seen in the East went before them, till it came to rest over the place where the child was. 10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy; 11 and going into the house they saw the child with Mary his mother, and they fell down and worshiped him. Then, opening their treasures, they offered him gifts, gold and frankincense and myrrh. 12 And being warned in a dream not to return to Herod, they departed to their own country by another way.

恭讀聖若望福音　1:29-34

第二天，若翰見耶穌向他走來，便說：「看，天主的羔羊，除免世罪者！這位就是我論他曾說過：有一個人在我以後來，成了在我以前的，因他原先我而有。連我也不曾認識他，但為使他顯示於以色列，為此，我來以水施洗。」若翰又作證說：「我看見聖神彷彿鴿子從天降下，停在他身上。我也不曾認識他。但那派遣我來以水施洗的，給我說：『你看見聖神降下，停在誰身上，誰就是那要以聖神施洗的人。我看見了，我便作證：他就是天主子。』

29 The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! 30 This is he of whom I said, `After me comes a man who ranks before me, for he was before me.’ 31 I myself did not know him; but for this I came baptizing with water, that he might be revealed to Israel.” 32 And John bore witness, “I saw the Spirit descend as a dove from heaven, and it remained on him. 33 I myself did not know him; but he who sent me to baptize with water said to me, `He on whom you see the Spirit descend and remain, this is he who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’ 34 And I have seen and have borne witness that this is the Son of God.”

恭讀聖若望福音　1:19-28

這是若翰所作的見證：當猶太人從耶路撒冷派遣了司祭和肋未人，到他那裡問他說：「你是誰」他明明承認，並沒有否認，他明認說：「我不是默西亞。」他們問他說：「那麼你是誰？你是厄里亞嗎？」他說：「我不是。」「你是那位先知嗎？」他回答說：「不是。」於是他們問他說：「你究竟是誰？好叫我們給那派遣我們來的人一個答覆。你自己說你是誰？」他說：「我是在曠野裡呼喊者的聲音：修直上主的道路！正如依撒意亞先知所說的。」被派遣來的有些是法利塞人。他們又問他說：「你既不是默西亞，又不是厄里亞，又不是那位先知，那麼，你為什麼施洗呢？」若翰答覆他們說：「我以水施洗。你們中間站著一位，是你們不認識的；他在我以後來，我卻當不起解他的鞋帶。」這些事發生於約旦河對岸的伯達尼，若翰施洗的地方。

Are you Elijah?” He said, “I am not.” “Are you the prophet?” And he answered, “No.” 22 They said to him then, “Who are you? Let us have an answer for those who sent us. What do you say about yourself?” 23 He said, “I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, `Make straight the way of the Lord,’ as the prophet Isaiah said.” 24 Now they had been sent from the Pharisees. 25 They asked him, “Then why are you baptizing, if you are neither the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the prophet?” 26 John answered them, “I baptize with water; but among you stands one whom you do not know, 27 even he who comes after me, the thong of whose sandal I am not worthy to untie.” 28 This took place in Bethany beyond the Jordan, where John was baptizing.

恭讀聖路加福音　2:16-21

那時候，牧羊人急忙去了，找到了瑪利亞和若瑟，及那躺在馬槽中的嬰兒。他們看見以後，就把天使對他們所說有關這小孩的事，傳揚開了；凡聽見的人，都驚訝牧羊人向他們所說的事。
瑪利亞卻把這一切事，默存在自己心中，反覆思想。
牧羊人回去；為了他們所聽見和看見的一切，正如天使向他們所說的一樣，就光榮讚美天主。
滿了八天，孩子應受割損，於是給他起名叫耶穌；這是他降孕母胎前，由天使所起的。

恭讀聖若望福音　1:1-18

在起初已有聖言：聖言與天主同在，聖言就是天主。聖言在起初就與天主同在。萬物是藉著他而造成的。凡受造的，沒有一樣不是由他而造成的。在他內有生命，這生命是人的光。光在黑暗中照耀，黑暗決不能勝過它。
曾有一人，是由天主派遣來的，名叫若翰。這人來，是為作證，為給光作證，為使眾人藉他而信。他不是那光，而是為給那光作證。
那普照每人的真光，正在進入世界；他已在世界上，世界原是藉他造成的；但世界卻不認識他。他來到了自己的領域，自己的人卻沒有接受他。但是，凡接受他的，他給他們，即給那些信他名字的人權能，好成為天主的子女。他們不是由血氣，也不是由肉慾，也不是由男慾，而是由天主生的。
於是，聖言成了血肉，寄居在我們中間；我們見了他的光榮，正如父獨生者的光榮，滿溢恩寵和真理。若翰為他作證呼喊說：「這就是我所說的，那在我以後來的，成了在我以前的，因他原先我而有。」從他的滿盈中，我們都領受了恩寵，而且恩寵上加恩寵。因為法律是藉梅瑟傳授的，恩寵和真理卻是由耶穌基督而來的。從來沒有人見過天主，只有那在父懷裡的獨生子，身為天主的，他給我們詳述了。
