護守天使 (紀念)

恭讀聖瑪竇福音　18:1-5,10

那時候，門徒來到耶穌跟前說：「在天國裏究竟誰是最大的？」耶穌就叫一個小孩來，使他站在他們中間說：「我實在告訴你們：你們若不變成如同小孩一樣，你們決不能進入天國。所以，誰若自謙自卑如同這一個小孩，這人就是天國中最大的。無論誰因我的名字，收留一個這樣的小孩，就是收留我。你們小心，不要輕視這些小子中的一個，因為我告訴你們：他們的天使在天上，常見我在天之父的面。」

The disciples approached Jesus and said, “Who is the greatest in the Kingdom of heaven?” He called a child over, placed it in their midst, and said, “Amen, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will not enter the Kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the Kingdom of heaven. And whoever receives one child such as this in my name receives me.
“See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that their angels in heaven always look upon the face of my heavenly Father.”

恭讀聖瑪竇福音　9:9-13

那時候，耶穌從葛法翁前行，看見一個人在稅關那裏坐著，名叫瑪竇，對他說：「跟隨我！」他就起來跟隨了耶穌。當耶穌在屋裏坐席時，有許多稅吏和罪人也來同耶穌和他的門徒一起坐席。法利塞人看見，就對他的門徒說：「你們的老師為什麼同稅吏和罪人一起進食呢？」耶穌聽見了，就說：「不是健康的人需要醫生，而是有病的人。你們去研究一下：『我喜歡仁愛勝過祭獻』，是什麼意思；我不是來召義人，而是來召罪人。」

As Jesus passed by, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the customs post. He said to him, “Follow me.” And he got up and followed him. While he was at table in his house, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat with Jesus and his disciples. The Pharisees saw this and said to his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?” He heard this and said, “Those who are well do not need a physician, but the sick do. Go and learn the meaning of the words, I desire mercy, not sacrifice. I did not come to call the righteous but sinners.”

那時，耶穌舉目望著自己的門徒說：「你們貧窮的是有福的，因為天主的國是你們的。你們現今饑餓的是有福的，因為你們將得飽飫。你們現今哭泣的是有福的，因為你們將要歡笑。幾時為了人子的緣故，人惱恨你們，並棄絕你們，並且以你們的名字為可惡的，而加以辱罵詛咒，你們才是有福的。在那一天，你們歡喜踴躍吧！看，你們的賞報在天上是豐厚的，因為他們的祖先也同樣對待了先知。但是，你們富有的是有禍的，因為你們已經獲得了安慰。你們現今飽飫的是有禍的，因為你們將要饑餓。你們現今歡笑的是有禍的，因為你們將要哀慟哭泣。幾時眾人都誇讚你們，你們是有禍的，因為他們的祖先也同樣對待了假先知。」

Raising his eyes toward his disciples Jesus said: “Blessed are you who are poor, for the Kingdom of God is yours. Blessed are you who are now hungry, for you will be satisfied. Blessed are you who are now weeping, for you will laugh. Blessed are you when people hate you, and when they exclude and insult you, and denounce your name as evil on account of the Son of Man.Rejoice and leap for joy on that day! Behold, your reward will be great in heaven. For their ancestors treated the prophets in the same way.But woe to you who are rich, for you have received your consolation. But woe to you who are filled now, for you will be hungry. Woe to you who laugh now, for you will grieve and weep. Woe to you when all speak well of you, for their ancestors treated the false prophets in this way.”
