Brother André, Canadian religious of the Congregation of the Holy Cross, is also one of the new saints. He lived between 1845 and 1937. He worked as a shoemaker, baker, farmer. He had the gift of healing the sick, so they started calling him the ‘Miracle Man of Montreal’.

The Italian youth Chiara Luce Badano is an example for many youths and the sick despite her death at only 18 years of age. Her heroic way of facing cancer didnt just surprise her parents and her friends. On September 25 she will be proclaimed blessed.
“ Dear children! Today I am with you and bless you all with my motherly blessing of peace, and I urge you to live your life of faith even more, because you are still weak and are not humble. I urge you, little children, to speak less and to work more on your personal conversion so that your witness may be fruitful. And may your life be unceasing prayer. Thank you for having responded to my call. ”
