恭讀聖瑪竇福音 7:6,12-14
那時候，耶穌對他的門徒說：「你們不要把聖物給狗，也不要把你們的珠寶投在豬前，怕牠們用腳踐踏了珠寶，而又轉過來咬傷你們。所以，凡你們願意人給你們做的，你們也要照樣給人做：法律和先知即在於此。你們要從窄門進去，因為寬門和大路導入喪亡；但有許多的人從那裡進去。那導入生命的門是多麼窄，路是多麼狹！找到它的人的確不多。」──上主的話。

A Reading from the Holy Gospel according to Matthew 7:6,12-14
Jesus said to his disciples: “Do not give what is holy to dogs, or throw your pearls before swine, lest they trample them underfoot, and turn and tear you to pieces.”Do to others whatever you would have them do to you.This is the Law and the Prophets. “Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the road broad that leads to destruction, and those who enter through it are many. How narrow the gate and constricted the road that leads to life. And those who find it are few.”
