恭讀聖若望福音　16:5-11

那時，耶穌對門徒說：「現在我就往派遣我者那裏去，你們中卻沒有人問我：你往那裏去？只因我給你們說了這話，你們就滿心憂悶。然而，我將真情告訴你們：我去為你們有益，因為我若不去，護慰者便不會到你們這裏來；我若去了，就要派遣他到你們這裏來。當他來到時，就要指證世界關於罪惡、正義和審判所犯的錯誤：關於罪惡，因為他們沒有信從我；關於正義，因為我往父那裏去，而你們再見不到我；關於審判，因為這世界的首領已被判斷了。」

But now I am going to him who sent me; yet none of you asks me, `Where are you going?’ 6 But because I have said these things to you, sorrow has filled your hearts. 7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. 8 And when he comes, he will convince the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment: 9 concerning sin, because they do not believe in me; 10 concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father, and you will see me no more; 11 concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.

恭讀聖若望福音　15:26-16:4

那時候，耶穌對門徒說：「當護慰者，就是我從父那裏要給你們派遣的，那發於父的真理之神來到時，他必要為我作證；並且你們也要作證，因為你們從開始就和我在一起。
「我給你們講論了這些事，免得你們的信仰受動搖。人要把你們逐出會堂；並且時候必到，凡殺害你們的，還以為是盡恭敬天主的義務。他們這樣作，是因為沒有認識父，也沒有認識我。我給你們講論了這一切，是為叫你們在這一切發生時，想起我早告訴了你們這一切。」

26 But when the Counselor comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness to me; 27 and you also are witnesses, because you have been with me from the beginning. (John 16) 1 I have said all this to you to keep you from falling away. 2 They will put you out of the synagogues; indeed, the hour is coming when whoever kills you will think he is offering service to God. 3 And they will do this because they have not known the Father, nor me. 4 But I have said these things to you, that when their hour comes you may remember that I told you of them. I did not say these things to you from the beginning, because I was with you.

恭讀聖若望福音　14:23-29

那時候，耶穌對門徒說：「誰愛我，必遵守我的話，我父也必愛他，我們要到他那裡去，並要在他那裡，作我們的居所。那不愛我的，就不遵守我的話。你們所聽到的話，並不是我的，而是派遣我來的父的話。
「我還與你們在一起的時候，給你們講論了這些事；但那護慰者，就是父因我的名，所要派遣來的聖神，他必要教訓你們一切，也要使你們想起，我對你們所說的一切。
「我把平安留給你們，我將我的平安賜給你們；我所賜給你們的，不像世界所賜的一樣。你們心裡不要煩亂，也不要膽怯。你們聽見我給你們說過：我去，但我還要回到你們這裡來。如果你們愛我，就該喜歡我往父那裡去，因為父比我大。現在，在事發生前，我就告訴了你們，為使你們在事發生時，能夠相信。」

23 Jesus answered him, “If a man loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. 24 He who does not love me does not keep my words; and the word which you hear is not mine but the Father’s who sent me. 25 “These things I have spoken to you, while I am still with you. 26 But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. 27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. 28 You heard me say to you, `I go away, and I will come to you.’ If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I go to the Father; for the Father is greater than I. 29 And now I have told you before it takes place, so that when it does take place, you may believe.

那時，耶穌對門徒說：「世界若恨你們，你們該知道：在你們以前，它已恨了我。若是你們屬於世界，世界必喜愛你們，有如屬於自己的人；但因你們不屬於世界，而是我從世界上揀選了你們，為此，世界才恨你們。你們要記得我對你們所說過的話：沒有僕人大過主人的；如果人們迫害了我，也要迫害你們；如果他們遵守了我的話，也要遵守你們的。但是，他們為了我名字的緣故，要向你們作這一切，因為他們不認識那派遣我來的。」

恭讀聖若望福音　14:6-14

那時候，耶穌對他的門徒說：「我是道路、真理、生命，除非經過我，誰也不能到父那裏去。你們若認識我，也就必然認識我父；現在你們已認識他，並且已經看見他。」斐理伯對他說：「主！把父顯示給我們，我們就心滿意足了。」耶穌回答說：「斐理伯！這麼長久的時候，我和你們在一起，而你還不認識我嗎？誰看見了我，就是看見了父；你怎麼說：把父顯示給我們呢？你不信我在父內，父在我內嗎？我對你們所說的話，不是憑我自己講的；而是住在我內的父，作他自己的事業。你們要相信我：我在父內，父也在我內；若不然，你們至少該因那些事業而相信。
「我實實在在告訴你們：凡信我的，我所做的事業，他也要做，並且還要作比這些更大的事業，因為我往父那裏去。你們因我的名無論求父什麼，我必要踐行，為叫父在子身上，獲得光榮。你們若因我的名向我求什麼，我必要踐行。」

He who has seen me has seen the Father; how can you say, `Show us the Father’? 10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority; but the Father who dwells in me does his works. 11 Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father in me; or else believe me for the sake of the works themselves. 12 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I go to the Father. 13 Whatever you ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son; 14 if you ask anything in my name, I will do it.”
