聖奧思定（主教、聖師）

恭讀聖瑪竇福音 23:27-32

那時候，耶穌對民眾和眾門徒講論說：「禍哉，你們經師和法利塞假善人！因為你們好像用石灰刷白的墳墓：外面看來華麗，裏面卻滿是死者的骨骸和各樣的污穢。同樣，你們外面叫人看來倒像義人，你們裏面卻滿是虛偽和不法。

「禍哉，你們經師和法利塞假善人！因為你們修建先知的墳，裝飾義人的墓，且說：假使我們生在我們祖先的時日，我們決不會與他們合謀殺害先知；這樣你們自己作證，你們是那些殘殺先知者的子孫了。那麼，你們就來完成你們祖先的勾當吧！」

“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for you are like whitewashed tombs, which outwardly appear beautiful, but within they are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness. So you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but within you are full of hypocrisy and iniquity. “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for you build the tombs of the prophets and adorn the monuments of the righteous, saying, `If we had lived in the days of our fathers, we would not have taken part with them in shedding the blood of the prophets.’ Thus you witness against yourselves, that you are sons of those who murdered the prophets. Fill up, then, the measure of your fathers.

恭讀聖路加福音　12:49-53

那時候，耶穌對門徒說：「我來，是為把火投在地上，我是多麼切望：它已經燃燒起來！我有一種應受的洗禮，我是如何焦急，直到它的完成！
「你們以為我來，是給地上送和平嗎？不，我告訴你們：而是來送分裂。因為從今以後，一家五口的，將要分裂：三個反對兩個，兩個反對三個。他們將要分裂：父親反對兒子，兒子反對父親；母親反對女兒，女兒反對母親；婆母反對兒媳，兒媳反對婆母。」

那時，有人給耶穌領來一些小孩子，要他給他們覆手祈禱，門徒卻斥責他們。耶穌說：「你們讓小孩子來吧！不要阻止他們到我跟前來，因為天國正是屬於這樣的人。」耶穌給他們覆了手，就從那裏走了。

恭讀聖瑪竇福音　19:3-12

那時候，有些法利塞人來到耶穌跟前，試探他說：「許不許人為了任何緣故，休自己的妻子呢？」他回答說：「你們沒有念過，那創造者自起初就造了他們——男和女；且說：『為此，人要離開父親和母親，依附自己的妻子，兩人成為一體』的話嗎？這樣，他們不是兩個，而是一體了。為此，凡天主所結合的，人不可拆散。」他們對他說：「那麼，為什麼梅瑟還吩咐人下休書休妻呢？」耶穌對他們說：「梅瑟為了你們的心硬，才准許你們休妻；但起初並不是這樣。如今我對你們說﹕無論誰休妻﹐除非因為姘居﹐而另娶一個﹐他就是犯奸淫；凡娶被休的，也是犯奸淫。」門徒對他說﹕「人同妻子的關係﹐如果是這樣﹐倒不如不娶的好。」耶穌對他們說：「這話不是人人所能領悟的，只有那些得了恩賜的人，才能領悟。因為有些閹人，從母胎生來就是這樣；有些閹人，是被人閹的；有些閹人，卻是為了天國，而自閹的。能領悟的，就領悟吧！」

3 And Pharisees came up to him and tested him by asking, “Is it lawful to divorce one’s wife for any cause?” 4 He answered, “Have you not read that he who made them from the beginning made them male and female, 5 and said, `For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? 6 So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man put asunder.” 7 They said to him, “Why then did Moses command one to give a certificate of divorce, and to put her away?” 8 He said to them, “For your hardness of heart Moses allowed you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it was not so. 9 And I say to you: whoever divorces his wife, except for unchastity, and marries another, commits adultery.” 10 The disciples said to him, “If such is the case of a man with his wife, it is not expedient to marry.” 11 But he said to them, “Not all men can receive this saying, but only those to whom it is given. 12 For there are eunuchs who have been so from birth, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by men, and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. He who is able to receive this, let him receive it.”
