恭讀聖若望福音　6:35-40

那時，耶穌回答群眾說：「我就是生命的食糧；到我這裏來的，永不會饑餓；信從我的，總不會渴。但是，我向你們說過：你們看見了我，仍然不信。凡父交給我的，必到我這裏來；而到我這裏來的，我必不把他拋棄於外，因為我從天降下，不是為執行我的旨意，而是為執行派遣我來者的旨意。派遣我來者的旨意就是：凡他交給我的，叫我連一個也不失掉，而且在末日還要使他復活，因為這是我父的旨意：凡看見子，並信從子的，必獲得永生；並且在末日，我要使他復活。」

A Reading from the Holy Gospel according to John 6:35-40

Jesus said to the crowds, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me will never hunger, and whoever believes in me will never thirst. But I told you that although you have seen me, you do not believe. Everything that the Father gives me will come to me, and I will not reject anyone who comes to me, because I came down from heaven not to do my own will but the will of the one who sent me. And this is the will of the one who sent me, that I should not lose anything of what he gave me, but that I should raise it on the last day. For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in him may have eternal life, and I shall raise him on the last day.”

恭讀聖若望福音　6:30-35

那時候，群眾問耶穌說：「那麼，你行什麼神蹟給我們看，好叫我們信服你呢？你要行什麼事呢？我們的祖先在曠野裏吃過『瑪納』，正如經上所記載的：『他從天上賜給了他們食物吃。』」於是耶穌向他們說：「我實實在在告訴你們：並不是梅瑟賜給了你們那從天上來的食糧，而是我父現今賜給你們從天上來的真正的食糧。因為天主的食糧，是那由天降下，並賜給世界生命。」他們便說：「主！你就把這樣的食糧常常賜給我們吧！」耶穌回答說：「我就是生命的食糧；到我這裏來的，永不會饑餓；誰信我的，總不會渴。」

A Reading from the Holy Gospel according to John 6:30-35

The crowd said to Jesus: “What sign can you do, that we may see and believe in you? What can you do? Our ancestors ate manna in the desert, as it is written:
He gave them bread from heaven to eat.”
So Jesus said to them, “Amen, amen, I say to you, it was not Moses who gave the bread from heaven; my Father gives you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is that which comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”
So they said to Jesus, “Sir, give us this bread always.” Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me will never hunger, and whoever believes in me will never thirst.”
