那時候，耶穌說：「我的羊聽我的聲音，我也認識他們，他們也跟隨我；我把永生賜給他們，他們永遠不會喪亡；誰也不能從我手中，把他們奪去。
「我父把羊群賜給我；我父超越一切，為此，誰也不能從我父手裡，將他們奪去。我與父原是一體。」

Jesus said: “My sheep hear my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish. No one can take them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one can take them out of the Father’s hand. The Father and I are one.”

恭讀聖若望福音　19:25-27

那時候，在耶穌的十字架旁，站著他的母親和他母親的姊妹，還有克羅帕的妻子瑪利亞和瑪利亞瑪達肋納。
耶穌看見母親，又看見他所愛的門徒站在旁邊，就對母親說：「女人，看，你的兒子！」然後；又對那門徒說：「看，你的母親！」就從那時起；那門徒把她接到自己家裏。

Standing by the cross of Jesus were his mother and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary of Magdala. When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple there whom he loved, he said to his mother, “Woman, behold, your son.” Then he said to the disciple, “Behold, your mother.” And from that hour the disciple took her into his home.
