恭讀聖路加福音　10:38-42
那時候，耶穌進了一個村莊。有一個名叫瑪爾大的女人，把耶穌接到家中。她有一個妹妹，名叫瑪利亞，坐在主的腳前聽他講話。瑪爾大為伺候耶穌，忙碌不已，便上前來說：「主！我的妹妹丟下我一個人伺候，你不介意嗎？請叫她來幫助我吧！」主回答她說：「瑪爾大，瑪爾大！你為了許多事操心忙碌，其實需要的惟有一件。瑪利亞選擇了更好的一份，是不能從她奪去的。」

A Reading from the Holy Gospel according to Luke 10:38-42

38 Now as they went on their way, he entered a village; and a woman named Martha received him into her house. 39 And she had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet and listened to his teaching. 40 But Martha was distracted with much serving; and she went to him and said, “Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me.” 41 But the Lord answered her, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things; 42 one thing is needful. Mary has chosen the good portion, which shall not be taken away from her.”

恭讀聖瑪竇福音　1:18-25
耶穌基督的誕生是這樣的：衪的母親瑪利亞許配於若瑟後， 在同居前，她因聖神有孕的事已顯示出來。
她的丈夫若瑟，因是義人，不願公開羞辱她，有意暗暗地休退她。
當他在思慮這事時，看，在夢中上主的天使顯現給他說：「達味之子若瑟，不要怕娶你的妻子瑪利亞，因為那在她內受生的，是出於聖神。
她要生一個兒子， 你要給衪起名叫耶穌，因為衪要把自己的民族，由他們的罪惡中拯救出來。」
這一切事的發生，是為應驗上主藉先知所說的話：
「看，一位貞女，將懷孕生子，人將稱衪的名字為厄瑪奴耳，意思是：天主與我們同在。
若瑟從睡夢中醒來，就照上主的天使所囑咐的辦了，娶了他的妻子；
若瑟雖然沒認識她，她就生了一個兒子，給衪起名叫耶穌。

(Nativity of our Lord)

A Reading from the Holy Gospel according to Matthew 1:18-25

18Now this is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about. When his mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph,* but before they lived together, she was found with child through the holy Spirit. 19Joseph her husband, since he was a righteous man,* yet unwilling to expose her to shame, decided to divorce her quietly. 20j Such was his intention when, behold, the angel of the Lord* appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary your wife into your home. For it is through the holy Spirit that this child has been conceived in her. 21She will bear a son and you are to name him Jesus,* because he will save his people from their sins.” 22All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet:

23* k “Behold, the virgin shall be with child and bear a son, and they shall name him Emmanuel,” which means “God is with us.” 24When Joseph awoke, he did as the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took his wife into his home. 25He had no relations with her until she bore a son,* and he named him Jesus.

恭讀聖路加福音　22:39-46
耶穌出來，照常往橄欖上去，門徒也跟著去了。
到了那地方，耶穌便給他們說：「你們應該祈禱，免得陷於誘惑。」
遂離開他們，約有投石那麼遠， 屈膝祈禱，
說：「父啊!你如果願意，請給我免去這杯吧! 但不要隨我的意願，惟照你的意願成就吧!」
有一位天使，從天上顯現給衪，加強衪的力量。
衪在極度恐慌中，祈禱越發懇切； 衪的汗如同血珠滴在地上。
衪從祈禱中起來，來到門徒那裏，看見他們都因憂悶睡著了，
就給他們說：「你們怎麼睡覺呢﹖起來祈禱吧! 免得陷於誘感。」

(Agony in the Garden)

A Reading from the Holy Gospel according to Luke 22:39-46

39 Then going out he went, as was his custom, to the Mount of Olives, and the disciples followed him. 40When he arrived at the place he said to them, “Pray that you may not undergo the test.”z 41 After withdrawing about a stone’s throw from them and kneeling, he prayed,a 42 saying, “Father, if you are willing, take this cup away from me; still, not my will but yours be done.”b *[43 And to strengthen him an angel from heaven appeared to him. 44 He was in such agony and he prayed so fervently that his sweat became like drops of blood falling on the ground.] 45When he rose from prayer and returned to his disciples, he found them sleeping from grief. 46He said to them, “Why are you sleeping? Get up and pray that you may not undergo the test.”

那時候，耶穌對群眾說：「我是從天上降下的、生活的食糧；誰若吃了這食糧，必要生活，直到永遠。我所要賜給的食糧，就是我的肉，為使世界獲得生命。」
猶太人彼此爭論說：「這人怎麼能把他的肉，賜給我們吃呢？」
耶穌向他們說：「我實實在在告訴你們：你們若不吃人子的肉，不喝他的血，在你們內，便沒有生命。誰吃我的肉，並喝我的血，必得永生；在末日，我且要叫他復活。
「因為我的肉，是真實的食糧；我的血，是真實的飲料。誰吃我的肉，並喝我的血，便住在我內，我也住在他內。就如那生活的父，派遣了我，我因父而生活；照樣，那吃我的人，也要因我而生活。
「這是從天上降下來的食糧。不像祖先吃了『瑪納』，仍然死了。誰吃這食糧，必要生活，直到永遠。」

(The Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ)

A Reading from the Holy Gospel according to John 6:51-58

51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven; if any one eats of this bread, he will live for ever; and the bread which I shall give for the life of the world is my flesh.” 52 The Jews then disputed among themselves, saying, “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?” 53 So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in you; 54 he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. 55 For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. 56 He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him. 57 As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so he who eats me will live because of me. 58 This is the bread which came down from heaven, not such as the fathers ate and died; he who eats this bread will live for ever.”
