恭讀聖瑪竇福音 18: 12-14
「你們以為怎樣？如果一個人有一百隻羊，其中一隻迷失了路，他豈不把九十九隻羊留在山上，而去找尋那只迷失了路的嗎？如果他找到了，我切實告訴你們，他為這一隻，比那沒有走失的九十九隻，更要喜歡呢！因此，你們在天之父也同樣不願這些小孩中的一個喪失。」

A Reading from the Holy Gospel according to Matthew 18:12-14
12 What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go in search of the one that went astray? 13 And if he finds it, truly, I say to you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine that never went astray. 14 So it is not the will of my Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.

有些人說話的聲線一定要蓋過別人，一定要講最後的一句話，是要表示自己有理，高人一等吧；又或者板著臉面，縐起眉頭地跟你說話，擺出不可一世的樣子；甚至更以別人的衣著，擁有那款私家車，住的地區或房屋的大小來定人的價值。
主耶穌的來世，就是要將人這些被歪曲的價值觀完全轉變過來：「神貧的人是有福的，因為天國是他們的…..; 溫良的人是有福的，因為他們要承受土地……」瑪 :3 – 12
「一切深谷要填滿，一切山陵要剷平，隆起的要削為平地，崎嶇的要闢成坦途！」依40:4 在今天的讀經中告訴我們，若要配得起主耶穌到來，我們就要努力下苦功，正如神父所說：除去驕傲和自大，並求主賜予謙遜之恩！
但願在耶穌聖體面前，在不知不覺中，使我等與祢結合，將我等鐵石之心，轉化為血肉之心！
