恭讀聖瑪竇福音　7: 21, 24-27

「不是向我說『主啊！主啊！』的人，就能進天國，而是承行我在天之父的旨意的人。「所以凡聽了我這些話，而實行的，好比一個聰明人，把自己的房屋蓋在岩石上。哪怕雨淋、水沖、風吹襲擊那所房屋，它卻不倒，因爲房基築在岩石上。凡聽了我這些話，而不去實行的，好比一個糊塗人，把房屋蓋在沙土上，雨淋、水沖、風吹襲擊那所房屋，它就倒塌了，而且倒塌的多慘！」

21 “Not every one who says to me, `Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 24 “Every one then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house upon the rock; 25 and the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. 26 And every one who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house upon the sand; 27 and the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell; and great was the fall of it.”

恭讀聖路加福音　10: 21-24

就在那時，耶穌因聖神而歡欣，說：「父，天地的主宰！我頌揚你；因爲你把這些事給聰明和通達的人隱藏起來，而啓示給了小子們。父！是的，因爲你本來喜歡這樣做。我父把一切都交給了我。除了父之外，沒有人知道子是誰；除了子，及子所願意啓示的人外，也沒有人知道父是誰。」隨後，他轉身單向門徒說：「見到你們所見的那眼睛是有福的。我告訴你們，許多先知和君王，曾想見你們所見的，卻沒有見到；要聽你們所聽的，卻沒有聽到。」

『祥』話短說(2011年11月28日)

寬恕之道
最近，偶然在一電視節目中，看到一輯訪問一位剛從利比亞回來的無國界醫生。受訪問者是一位在香港公立醫院服務的外科醫生。他利用自己的假期在當地服務一個月。記者問及他最深的印象時，他指出無論是政府軍或叛軍的傷兵，都接受同等待遇，雖然當時的救援設施是屬政府軍所控制。
醫療無分國界，人與人之間的關係，亦應無分敵我。
人彼此總有不咬咬弦的地方。否則，伯多祿不會問耶穌，寬恕別人，七次可足夠嗎！
耶穌的回應：「我不對你說七次，而是七十個七次。」耶穌並不是說了便算數，他自己更身體力行。
大家還記得伯多祿曾在大司祭庭園裡，否認自己是耶穌的門徒。耶穌復活後，在加里肋亞湖邊，耶穌只是以充滿憐愛的口吻問伯多祿：「你愛我嗎？」耶穌聽到伯多祿的回應：「主，你知道我愛你」時，便已心滿意足。
寬恕之道，在乎有心人。若難以啟齒說聲：對不起，至少在行為上，伸出友誼之手。
我曾與已去世的科明智神父共事三年。有一次，為了一些誤會，我倆在晚飯時並不投緣。到了第二天早晨，我走進他的辦公室，向他伸出了友誼的手。他立時給我熊抱，並對我說：「你是一個好神父！」自那天起，我們成了好朋友。
十年前，我被派往多倫多工作。因為上任的主任司鐸與堂區議會某些成員意見不合，結果我的「空降」於該堂區，更成了磨心。經過半年的折磨，我才接任主任司鐸之職。我沒有懷恨在心。五年後，當那位司鐸慶祝晉鐸金慶時，我特意邀請他回堂區慶祝，並主持安放中華致命聖人的聖髑入祭台中。
我雖然說是折磨，但我沒有失去半點平安，反而內心覺得是一份榮幸，因為能與基督同行。
家長最常犯的毛病，是當子女犯某一錯誤的時候，便把他們過去一切的錯誤都加起來，予以同時責罵。這是不正確的，因為帶出了一個訊息：我沒有忘記你過去的錯誤！
雖然我們真的沒有忘記，但應學習耶穌對伯多祿那樣，讓過去的成過去，不必計較。在末日審訊時，我們不是也願意耶穌這樣對待我們嗎？
