恭讀聖瑪竇福音 9:35-10:1,6-8
那時候，耶穌周遊各城各村，在他們的會堂內施教，宣講天國的福音，治好一切疾病，一切災殃。他一見到群眾，就對他們動了慈心，因為他們困苦流離，像沒有牧人的羊。於是對自己的門徒說：「莊稼固多，工人卻少，所以你們應當求莊稼的主人派遣工人，來收他的莊稼。」
耶穌將他的十二門徒叫來，授給他們制伏邪魔的權柄，可以驅逐邪魔，醫治各種病症，各種疾苦。你們寧可往以色列家迷失了的羊那裏去。你們在路上應宣講說：天國臨近了。病人，你們要治好；死人，你們要復活；痳瘋病人，你們要潔淨；魔鬼，你們要驅逐；你們白白得來的，也要白白分施。

A Reading from the Holy Gospel according to Matthew 9:35-10:1,6-8
9:35 And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every infirmity. 36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; 38 pray therefore the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” 10:1 And he called to him his twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every disease and every infirmity. 6 “Go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 7 And preach as you go, saying, `The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ 8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, cast out demons. You received without paying, give without pay.
