恭讀聖瑪竇福音　17: 10-13

眾門徒從山上下來時，便問耶穌說：「那麼，爲什麽經師說：厄里亞應該先來呢？」耶穌回答說：「厄里亞的確要來，且要重整一切；但我告訴你們；厄里亞已經來了，人們卻不認識他，反而任意待了他；照樣，人子也要受他們的磨難。」門徒這才明白耶穌給他們所說的，是指的洗者若翰。

那時，耶穌向群眾說：「我可把這一代比作什麽呢？它像坐在大街上的兒童，向其他的孩子喊叫，說：我們給你們吹了笛，你們卻不跳舞；我們唱了哀歌，你們卻不捶胸。若翰來了，也不吃，也不喝。他們便說：他附了魔；人子來了，也吃也喝，他們卻說：看啊！一個貪吃嗜酒的人，稅吏和罪人的朋友！但智慧必藉自己的工程彰顯自己的正義。」

那時候，耶穌對群眾說：「我實在告訴你們：在婦女所生者中，沒有興起一位比洗者若翰更大的；但在天國裏最小的，也比他大。由洗者若翰的日子直到如今，天國是以猛力去奪取的，以猛力的奪取的人，就攫取了它，因爲眾先知和法律講說預言，直到若翰爲止。若是你們願意接受，他就是那位要來的厄里亞。有耳的，聽吧！」

恭讀聖路加福音　19:1-10

耶穌進了耶里哥，正經過的時候，有一個人，名叫匝凱，他原是稅吏長，是個富有的人。他想要看看耶穌是什麼人；但由於人多，不能看見，因為他身材短小。於是他往前奔跑，攀上了一棵野桑樹，要看看耶穌，因為耶穌就要從那裏經過。耶穌來到那地方，抬頭一看，對他說：「匝凱，你快下來！因為我今天必須住在你家中。」他便趕快下來，喜悅地款留耶穌。眾人見了，都竊竊私議說：「他竟到有罪的人那裏投宿。」匝凱站起來對主說：「主，你看，我把我財物的一半施捨給窮人；我如果欺騙過誰，我就以四倍賠償。」耶穌對他說：「今天救恩臨到了這一家，因為他也是亞巴郎之子。因為人子來，是為尋找及拯救迷失了的人。」

到了第六個月，天使加俾額爾奉天主差遣，往加里肋亞一座名叫納匝肋的城去，到一位童貞女那裏，她已與達味家族中的一個名叫若瑟的男子訂了婚，童貞女的名字叫瑪利亞。天使進去向她說：「萬福！充滿恩寵者，上主與你同在！」【在女人中你是蒙祝福的。】她卻因這話驚惶不安，便思慮這樣的請安有什麼意思。天使對她說：「瑪利亞，不要害怕；因為你在天主前獲得了寵幸。看，你將懷孕生子，並要給他起名叫耶穌，他將是偉大的，並被稱為至高者的兒子，上主天主要把他祖先達味的御座賜給他，他要為王統治雅各伯家，直到永遠；他的王權沒有終結。」瑪利亞便向天使說：「這事怎能成就？因為我不認識男人。」天使答覆她說：「聖神要臨於你，至高者的能力要庇廕你，因此，那要誕生的聖者，將稱為天主的兒子。且看，你的親戚依撒伯爾，她雖在老年，卻懷了男胎：本月已六個月了，她原是素稱不生育的，因為在天主前沒有不能的事。」瑪利亞說：「看！上主的婢女，願照你的話成就於我吧！」天使便離開她去了。

恭讀聖路加福音　5: 17-26

有一天，耶穌正在施教，幾個法利塞人和法學士也在座。他們是從加里肋亞和猶太各鄉村及耶路撒冷來的；上主的德能催迫耶治病。看，有人用床抬來一個患癱瘓症的人，設法把他抬進去，放在耶穌跟前。但因人眾多，不得其門而入。遂上了房頂，從瓦中間，把他連那小床繫到中間，正放在耶穌面前。耶穌一見他們的信心，就說：「人啊！你的罪赦了。」經師和法利塞人開始忖度說：「這人是誰？竟說褻瀆話？除了天主一個外，誰能赦罪？」耶穌看透了他們的心思，就向他們說：「你們心裏忖度什麽呢？什麼比較容易？是說：你的罪赦了，或是說：起來行走吧！但爲叫你們知道人子在地上有權赦罪。」——便對癱子說：「我給你說：起來，拿起你的小床，回家去吧！」那人立刻在他們面前站了起來，拿著他躺過的小床，回家去了。眾人十分驚奇，並光榮天主，滿懷恐懼說：「今天我們看見了出奇的事。」

17 On one of those days, as he was teaching, there were Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting by, who had come from every village of Galilee and Judea and from Jerusalem; and the power of the Lord was with him to heal. 18 And behold, men were bringing on a bed a man who was paralyzed, and they sought to bring him in and lay him before Jesus; 19 but finding no way to bring him in, because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and let him down with his bed through the tiles into the midst before Jesus. 20 And when he saw their faith he said, “Man, your sins are forgiven you.” 21 And the scribes and the Pharisees began to question, saying, “Who is this that speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins but God only?” 22 When Jesus perceived their questionings, he answered them, “Why do you question in your hearts? 23 Which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Rise and walk?’ 24 But that you may know that the Son of man has authority on earth to forgive sins” –he said to the man who was paralyzed– “I say to you, rise, take up your bed and go home.” 25 And immediately he rose before them, and took up that on which he lay, and went home, glorifying God. 26 And amazement seized them all, and they glorified God and were filled with awe, saying, “We have seen strange things today.”

恭讀聖路加福音　3:1-6

凱撒提庇留執政第十五年，般雀比拉多作猶太總督，黑落德作加里肋亞分封侯，他的兄弟斐理伯作依突勒雅和特辣曷尼地方的分封侯，呂撒尼雅作阿彼肋乃分封侯，亞納斯和蓋法作大司祭時，在荒野中有天主的話，傳給匝加利亞的兒子若翰。
若翰於是走遍約但河一帶地方，宣講悔改的洗禮，為得罪之赦。正如先知依撒意亞預言書上記載的：
「在荒野中有呼號者的聲音：你們當預備上主的道路，修直他的途徑！一切深谷要填滿，一切山岳丘陵要剷平，彎曲的要修直，崎嶇的要闢成坦途！凡有血肉的，都要看見天主的救援。」

正當耶穌前行，有兩個瞎子跟著他，喊說：「達味之子！可憐我們吧！」他一來到家，瞎子便走到他跟前；耶穌對他們說：「你們信我能作這事嗎？」他們對他說：「是，主！」於是耶穌摸他們的眼說：「照你們的信德，給你們成就吧！」他們的眼便開了。耶穌嚴厲警戒他們說：「你們當心，不可使任何人知道。」但他們出去，就在那整個地區把他傳揚開了。
