恭讀聖瑪竇福音 25:31-46
耶穌向他的門徒說：「當人子在自己的光榮中，與眾天神一同降來時，那時，他要坐在光榮的寶座上，一切的民族，都要聚在他面前；他要把他們彼此分開，如同牧人分開綿羊和山羊一樣：把綿羊放在自己的右邊，山羊在左邊。那時，君王要對那些在他右邊的說：我父所祝福的，你們來吧！承受自創世以來，給你們預備了的國度吧！因為我餓了，你們給了我吃的；我渴了，你們給了我喝的；我作客，你們收留了我；我赤身露體，你們給了我穿；我患病，你們看顧了我；我在監裡，你們來探望了我。那時，義人回答他說：主啊！我們什麼時候見了你饑餓而供養了你，或口渴而給了你喝的？我們什麼時候見了你作客，而收留了你，或赤身露體而給了你穿的？我們什麼時候見你患病，或在監裡而來探望過你？君王便回答他們說：我實在告訴你們：凡你們對我這些最小兄弟中的一個所做的，就是對我做的。然後他又對那些在左邊的說：可咒罵的，離開我，到那給魔鬼和他的使者預備的永火裡去吧！因為我餓了，你們沒有給我吃的；我渴了，你們沒有給我喝的；我作客，你們沒有收留我；我赤身露體，你們沒有給我穿的；我患病或在監裡，你們沒有來探望我。那時，他們也要回答說：主啊！我們幾時見了你饑餓，或口渴，或作客，或赤身露體，或有病，或坐監，而我們沒有給你效勞？』那時，君王回答他們說：我實在告訴你們：凡你們沒有給這些最小中的一個做的，便是沒有給我做。這些人要進入永罰，而那些義人卻要進入永生。」

31 “When the Son of man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne. 32 Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate them one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats, 33 and he will place the sheep at his right hand, but the goats at the left.34 Then the King will say to those at his right hand, `Come, O blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; 35 for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, 36 I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ 37 Then the righteous will answer him, `Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? 38 And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? 39 And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ 40 And the King will answer them, `Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me.’ 41 Then he will say to those at his left hand, `Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels; 42 for I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.’ 44 Then they also will answer, `Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to you?’ 45 Then he will answer them, `Truly, I say to you, as you did it not to one of the least of these, you did it not to me.’ 46 And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

恭讀聖瑪竇福音　4:1-11
那時候，耶穌被聖神領到曠野，為受魔鬼的試探。祂四十天四十夜禁食，後來就餓了。試探者就前來對耶穌說：「祢如果是天主子，就命令這些石頭變成餅吧！」耶穌回答說：「經上記載：『人生活不只靠餅，也靠天主所說的話。』」那時，魔鬼引耶穌到了聖城，使祂站在聖殿頂上，對祂說：「祢如果是天主子，就跳下去， 因經上記載：『祂為祢吩咐了自己的天使，用手托著祢，免得祢的腳碰在石頭上。』」耶穌對魔鬼說：「經上又記載：『你不可試探上主，你的天主！』」魔鬼又把耶穌帶到一座極高的山上，將普世萬國及其榮華，指給祂看，對祂說：「祢如果俯伏朝拜我，我必把這一切交給祢。」那時，耶穌就對魔鬼說：「去吧！撒旦！因為經上記載：『你要朝拜上主，你的天主，惟獨事奉祂。』」於是，魔鬼離開了耶穌，就有天使前來伺候耶穌。

1 Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. 2 And he fasted forty days and forty nights, and afterward he was hungry. 3 And the tempter came and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, command these stones to become loaves of bread.” 4 But he answered, “It is written, `Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.'” 5 Then the devil took him to the holy city, and set him on the pinnacle of the temple, 6 and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down; for it is written, `He will give his angels charge of you,’ and `On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone.'” 7 Jesus said to him, “Again it is written, `You shall not tempt the Lord your God.'” 8 Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and the glory of them; 9 and he said to him, “All these I will give you, if you will fall down and worship me.” 10 Then Jesus said to him, “Begone, Satan! for it is written, `You shall worship the Lord your God and him only shall you serve.'” 11 Then the devil left him, and behold, angels came and ministered to him.

那時候，耶穌出去，看見一個稅吏，名叫肋未，在稅關那裡坐著，便對他說：「跟隨我吧！」他便捨棄一切，起來跟隨了他。肋未在自己家中為他擺設了盛筵，有許多稅吏和其他的人，與他們一同坐席。法利塞人和他們的經師就憤憤不平，對他的門徒說：「你們為什麼同稅吏和罪人一起吃喝？」耶穌回答他們說：「不是健康的人需要醫生，而是有病的人。我不是來召叫義人，而是召叫罪人悔改。」
—基督的福音。

7 After this he went out, and saw a tax collector, named Levi, sitting at the tax office; and he said to him, “Follow me.” 28 And he left everything, and rose and followed him. 29 And Levi made him a great feast in his house; and there was a large company of tax collectors and others sitting at table with them. 30 And the Pharisees and their scribes murmured against his disciples, saying, “Why do you eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners?” 31 And Jesus answered them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick; 32 I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
