恭讀聖瑪竇福音　5:38-48
那時候，耶穌對門徒說：「你們一向聽說過：『以眼還眼，以牙還牙。』我卻對你們說：不要抵抗惡人；而且，若有人掌擊你的右頰，你把另一面也轉給他。那願與你爭訟，拿你內衣的，你連外衣也讓給他。若有人強迫你走一千步，你就同他走兩千步。求你的，就給他；有人向你借貸，你不要拒絕。「你們一向聽說過：『你應愛你的近人，恨你的仇人！』我卻對你們說：你們當愛你們的仇人，當為迫害你們的人祈禱，好使你們成為你們在天之父的子女，因為他使太陽上升，光照惡人，也光照善人；降雨給義人，也給不義的人。你們若只愛那愛你們的人，你們還有什麼賞報呢？稅吏不是也這樣做嗎？你們若只問候你們的弟兄，你們做了什麼特別的呢？外邦人不是也這樣做嗎？所以你們應當是成全的，如同你們的天父是成全的一樣。」

A Reading from the Holy Gospel according to Matthew 5:38-48

38 “You have heard that it was said, `An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’ 39 But I say to you, Do not resist one who is evil. But if any one strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also; 40and if any one would sue you and take your coat, let him have your cloak as well; 41 and if any one forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles. 42 Give to him who begs from you, and do not refusehim who would borrow from you. 43 “You have heard that it was said, `You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? 47 And if you salute only your brethren, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same? 48 You, therefore, must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

恭讀聖馬爾谷福音 9:2-13
那時候，耶穌帶著伯多祿、雅各伯和若望，單獨帶領他們上了一座高山，在他們面前變了容貌：他的衣服發光，那樣潔白，世上沒有一個漂布的能漂得那樣白。厄里亞和梅瑟也顯現給他們，正在同耶穌談論。伯多祿遂開口對耶穌說：「師傅，我們在這裡真好！讓我們張搭三個帳棚：一個為你，一個為梅瑟，一個為厄里亞。」他原不知道該說什麼，因為他們都嚇呆了。當時，有一團雲彩遮蔽了他們，從雲中有聲音說：「這是我的愛子，你們要聽從他！」他們忽然向四周一看，任誰都不見了，只有耶穌同他們在一起。
他們從山上下來的時候，耶穌囑咐他們，非等人子從死者中復活後，不要將他們所見的告訴任何人。他們遵守了這話，卻彼此討論從死者中復活是什麼意思。他們就問耶穌說：「為什麼經師們說厄里亞應該先來？」耶穌對他們說：「厄里亞固然要先來重整一切：但是經上關於人子應受許多痛苦，被人輕慢，是怎樣記載的呢？可是，我告訴你們：厄里亞已經來了，人們任意對待了他，正如經上關於他所記載的。」

A Reading from the Holy Gospel according to Mark 9:2-13

2 And after six days Jesus took with him Peter and James and John, and led them up a high mountain apart by themselves; and he was transfigured before them, 3 and his garments became glistening, intensely white, as no fuller on earth could bleach them. 4 And there appeared to them Eli’jah with Moses; and they were talking to Jesus. 5 And Peter said to Jesus, “Master, it is well that we are here; let us make three booths, one for you and one for Moses and one for Eli’jah.” 6 For he did not know what to say, for they were exceedingly afraid. 7 And a cloud overshadowed them, and a voice came out of the cloud, “This is my beloved Son; listen to him.” 8 And suddenly looking around they no longer saw any one with them but Jesus only. 9 And as they were coming down the mountain, he charged them to tell no one what they had seen, until the Son of man should have risen from the dead. 10 So they kept the matter to themselves, questioning what the rising from the dead meant. 11 And they asked him, “Why do the scribes say that first Eli’jah must come?” 12 And he said to them, “Eli’jah does come first to restore all things; and how is it written of the Son of man, that he should suffer many things and be treated with contempt? 13 But I tell you that Eli’jah has come, and they did to him whatever they pleased, as it is written of him.”

那時候，耶穌召集群眾和門徒來，對他們說：「誰若願意跟隨我，該棄絕自己，背著自己的十字架，跟隨我，因為誰若願意救自己的性命，必要喪失性命；但誰若為我和福音的緣故，喪失自己性命，必要救得性命。人縱然賺得了全世界而賠上自己的靈魂，為他有什麼益處？人還能拿什麼作為自己靈魂的代價？誰若在這淫亂和罪惡的世代中，以我和我的話為恥，將來人子在他父的光榮中，同諸聖天使降來時，也要以他為恥。」
耶穌又對他們說：「我實在告訴你們：站在這裏的人中，就有幾個在未嘗到死味以前，必要看見天主的國帶著威能降來。」

A Reading from the Holy Gospel according to Mark 8:34 – 9:1

34 And he called to him the multitude with his disciples, and said to them, “If any man would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. 35 For whoever would save his life will lose it; and whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel’s will save it. 36 For what does it profit a man, to gain the whole world and forfeit his life? 37 For what can a man give in return for his life? 38 For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him will the Son of man also be ashamed, when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.” 1 And he said to them, “Truly, I say to you, there are some standing here who will not taste death before they see that the kingdom of God has come with power.”
